How to Place Bids

Learn how to conduct the bidding process smoothly during the Auction. These steps help the Tournament Manager manage bids effectively and keep the Auction flowing.

1

Tap ‘Bid’ Under a Team

To start bidding, tap the ‘Bid’ button below the team you wish to place a bid for. This action registers that team’s interest in the current player and prepares the system for the next step.

⚠️ Note: Once a bid is placed for a player, that player cannot be marked as unsold. Ensure you only start bidding when the player is confirmed for selection.
2

Select Bid Amount

A grid of available bid values will appear. Choose the desired bid amount from this grid to place that value as the team’s active bid.

Bid options are displayed based on the configured bid increment rules and the team’s remaining purse.

3

Scroll Through More Bid Options

Use the ↑ / ↓ buttons to browse additional bid values if the default grid doesn’t show the amount you want.

This makes it quick to access all valid bid amounts during fast-paced bidding rounds.

4

Access Extended Bid Options

Tapping on ‘...’ opens a bid menu which lists all possible bid values according to the configured bidding increment rules.

This provides an alternative to navigating bids through the ↑ / ↓ buttons and is useful for quick selection from the full bid range.

5

Mark Player as ‘Sold’

Once the final bid is confirmed, click the ‘Sold’ button to assign the player to the team with the highest bid.

The system automatically updates the player’s status, adjusts the team’s purse, and logs the result in the Auction timeline.

💡 Tip: Always confirm the final bid and verify the player’s details before marking them as Sold to avoid reversals or errors during live Auctions.
6

Proceed to Next Player

Tap ‘Next Player’ to continue the Auction. The next player will be selected randomly from the current player group, or if the group is complete, from the next player group.

This keeps the Auction dynamic and ensures balanced distribution of player selections.
